Open Market Transfer System

The system is open April–August for eligible UFT-titled employees seeking school transfers.
After August, a principal’s release is required unless placed in excess.

Per Session Opportunities

Find and apply for school-based per session jobs on the Per Session Jobs page within the main NYCPS website.

NEW: Starting SY2026-2027, find and apply for central-based per session jobs on the HR School Support SharePoint site. Staff email address log-in is required to view this page. Retirees must obtain a work nomination and reactivate their staff email addresses with the DIIT Help Desk before applying to any position.

Work with your Per Session Supervisor to request a waiver. Summary available in Chancellor’s Regulation C-175.
