Do you know any staff, friends, or family members who would make excellent educators? They have the opportunity to become teachers by September 2026 through the NYC Teaching Fellows program! For 25 years, the program has successfully trained thousands of aspiring teachers to serve NYC students in the districts and subjects where they are needed most. The NYC Teaching Fellows 2026 application is now open through March 19, 2026. We invite aspiring teachers to learn more and apply today.

Open Market Transfer System
The system is open April–August for eligible UFT-titled employees seeking school transfers.
After August, a principal’s release is required unless placed in excess.

Per Session Opportunities
