As opportunities are identified, they will be shared on this webpage as well as directions for how you can express interest in a potential opportunity. Non-certified firms cannot be considered for these opportunities so eligible firms should get City M/WBE certified today!
M/WBE firms should also be prepared to respond to these opportunities by creating an account in PASSPort. It is critical that you are enrolled in PASSPort and all disclosures are current and complete to ensure your contract is registered quickly so you can commence work. Be mindful that awards made through this method may result in a vendor exceeding $250,000 during the immediately preceding twelve-month period and thus require disclosure documents such as VENDEX questionnaires (including the Vendor Questionnaire, Principal Questionnaire, and the Certification of No Change) to be completed. Description: This is a Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (“MWBE”) Simplified Procurement requirements contract for Furnishing and Installing Window Shades in DOE schools and administrative buildings.
The scope of Work of this Contract shall include but not be limited to all labor, material and supervision necessary to furnish and install new roller shades in varying sizes, to repair or replace the hardware and repair shades as required and as per provisions of this specification, As per the provisions of this specification, in accordance with all applicable provisions of the New York City Building Code and all Federal, State and City agency Rules and Regulations. This Contract may be accessed for any designated school or building under the jurisdiction of the Department of Education of the City of New York.
