From a Computer
- Go to nycdoe.zoom.us
- You'll see three buttons. Choose the bottom one labeled "Sign-In"


- Sign in with your DOE credentials
- You're in!
- You should see your NYC DOE Zoom account page. From here you can change your profile picture, and schedule, join, or host meetings.
Important: You can only sign in if you have an email address that contains any of the three domains below, you can access and use the NYC DOE Zoom platform, at no cost to you or your school:
- @schools.nyc.gov (administrative and school staff)
- @nycstudents.net (students)
- @doeexternal.nyc (external service providers)

Caveats:
- Most of the settings are preset by the NYC DOE in order to provide a safe environment for its students, families and staff.
- The links to Attend a Live Training, Video Tutorials, and Knowledge Base are not specific to the NYC DOE Zoom platform.
- However, you can attend a DOE-specific Zoom User Training two-three times a week!
Using the Computer Application
- Download the Zoom desktop application.
- Install it.
- Launch the application, which will display its Sign In screen.

- DO NOT fill in any field.
- Select the "Sign in with SSO" button at the top of the right-hand column.
- The Sign in with SSO screen will display with two fields.
- Type "nycdoe" in the blank field.

- Select the "continue" button. It will take you to the NYC DOE's Single Sign On Page.

- Sign in with your DOE credentials
- Important: You can only sign in if you have an email address that contains any of the three domains below, you can access and use the NYC DOE Zoom platform, at no cost to you or your school:
- @schools.nyc.gov (administrative and school staff)
- @nycstudents.net (students)
- @doeexternal.nyc (external service providers)
- You'll see the "This site is trying to open Zoom meetings" screen. Select the "Open" button.

- You're in!
- You'll get the application's meetings landing page. You can now navigate throughout the app using the top menu, schedule a new meeting, or join an existing meeting.
From a Mobile App
- Launch the Zoom mobile application.
- Click "Sign-In". The App's "Sign In" screen will display. Select the "Sign in with SSO" button.

- Two fields will display: One is blank, the other has ".zoom.us" in it.
- Enter "NYCDOE" into the blank field.

- Tap "Continue".
- You will be brought to the DOE sign-in page.

- Sign in with your DOE credentials
- You're in!
- You should see your NYC DOE Zoom account page. From here you can change your profile picture, and schedule, join, or host meetings.

From an Email/Calendar Invitation
- First, make sure you have configured your account in Zoom.
- Follow the directions above for "Using a Computer."
- If you don't, you may get an error message saying that your account is not valid.
- Once you've done that, click on the Zoom meeting link in the meeting invite. The following screen will appear:

- If you have Zoom installed on your computer, Select "Allow"
- If you do not have the Zoom app installed on your computer or device, deeper on the screen you'll see "Join from your browser." Use this to join the meeting.

- If joining from a mobile device, you will be prompted to download the Zoom app before accessing the meeting.

- You're in! Enjoy the meeting!
