On Sunday, October 13, the New York City Department of Education (DOE) will celebrate NYC public schools by participating in March United for Public Schools, a special event co-hosted by the DOE and United Way of New York City. Students, families, staff members, and public school advocates will start at Foley Square in Manhattan starting at 9 a.m. and will cross the Brooklyn Bridge to Brooklyn’s Borough Hall. The event will culminate with an event with special performances from DOE students.
