Federal law requires the NYC Department of Education to provide the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of high school students to military recruiters and institutions of higher education that request this information. While we are committed to protecting the confidentiality of our students, we must comply with the law.
Students and parents may opt-out of releasing information to the military and/or institutions of higher learning. For further information, please see Chancellor's Regulation A-825.
